Greta Gainer Anderson, Esq.
Greta Gainer Anderson is the founder of The Anderson Law Group. Ms. Anderson is a graduate of Howard University School of Law in Washington, DC, where she earned a Juris Doctorate degree in 1983. Ms. Anderson served Nassau County as a dedicated Assistant District Attorney for four years before joining the esteemed Attorney Elmer Lowe, Esq., in private practice. It was under his didactic tutelage that she utilized her skills and experience to transition into the areas of real estate, trusts, wills and estates and elder law.
Ms. Anderson has practiced in these areas for more than twenty-five years. She is a member of the Queens County Bar Association where she serves on several committees; Elder Law, Surrogate’s Court, Estates & Trusts, and Real Property.
Ms. Anderson serves the community in different capacities. In 1996, she received an award for outstanding commitment and dedication for service as president of the Addisleigh Park Civic Association in Queens, New York after four years of working with the Association. She conducts estate planning workshops and seminars at senior centers, churches and at JP Morgan Chase. In 2007, she received the Esther Award for Outstanding Achievement in Humanitarianism from Purpose Driven Sisters Association of the W.L. Bonner Cultural Center in the Village of Harlem, New York. She served as president of the Financial Ministry at The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York from 2007-2009. As president, she helped organize and facilitate annual financial expos and monthly workshops.
